Xurya supports the industry in building operational resilience during the energy transition
The acceleration of the energy transition in Indonesia continues to show positive progress. Data from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) show that the share of new and renewable energy in the energy mix (EBT) reached 17.89% in April 2026, exceeding the annual target of 16.46%.
As more companies start using solar energy, the success of the energy transformation is no longer determined solely by the technology used, but also by the company’s ability to choose the right partner.

Edwin Widjonarko, co-founder and Director of Technology at Xurya, states that the high barrier to switching to solar energy has prompted the company, based on his experience with various clients, to be increasingly selective in the choice of solar power plant developers (PLTS).
“Based on our experience, one of the biggest challenges in the implementation of solar power plants in the industrial and commercial sectors is that solar power plants are a long-term investment. Companies must therefore be certain that they choose the right solar power plant developer. To build this trust, we focus on understanding each customer’s operational needs, ensuring the quality of the implementation, and guaranteeing that the system delivers optimal performance throughout its entire lifespan. As a result, many customers have returned to Xurya for solar power plant development through capacity expansions and the expansion of other operational facilities,” says Edwin.
One company that continues to expand its solar power plant implementation with Xurya is PT Sariguna Primatirta Tbk (CLEO). In early 2026, CLEO announced that it would further increase the capacity of solar power plants in its factories.
Since the start of the partnership with Xurya in 2021, CLEO has equipped 20 factories with solar power plants with a total capacity of 8 MWp. This makes CLEO the company with the largest solar power plants in Indonesia that produces bottled drinking water (AMDK).

Additionally, PT Uni-Charm Indonesia Tbk has expanded its solar power plants to three locations with a total capacity of more than 12 MWp. FKS Group has also expanded its solar power plants from one to seven locations with a total capacity of more than 4 MWp.
CT Corp has expanded its solar power plants to three locations: Trans Studio Mall Bandung, Trans Studio Mall Cibubur, and Trans Studio Mall Makassar.
Primataya Hospital Group has expanded its solar power plants to two hospitals with a total capacity of more than 550 kWp. Meanwhile, Gajah Tunggal continues to expand its solar power plants to four locations with a total capacity of 16 MWp. To meet the growing needs of customers, Xurya continues to strengthen its position as the local market leader in the Indonesian solar energy sector.
By relying on a team of experts and local employees who understand the operational characteristics, regulations, and implementation challenges of the domestic market, Xurya continues to develop diverse solutions, including off-grid hybrid solutions for the commercial and industrial sectors.

The entire system is supported by real-time performance monitoring, 24/7 expert service, and implementation that complies with national and international standards.
By 2025, Xurya’s portfolio achieved a combined performance index of over 100%, reflecting the consistent performance of the managed systems at various customer operational locations.
“During the development of more than 300 solar energy projects with a total installed capacity of over 200 MW, we have seen that every customer has different needs. This experience has shaped our approach to delivering solutions that truly align with our customers’ operational needs and go beyond simply installing a solar energy system. For us, the success of a project does not end when the system is put into operation, but when the system delivers optimal performance throughout its entire lifespan. Customer trust is an important indicator for us. Almost 50% of the projects we execute come from customers who have previously partnered with Xurya for the development of their solar power plants, while more than 50% of new customers hear about Xurya through recommendations from business partners,” says Edwin.
The commitment to maintaining service quality is also reflected in customer satisfaction. An internal survey conducted by Xurya with Populix revealed a satisfaction score of 4.6 out of 5, with operational and maintenance (O&M) services being the most appreciated. After all, these services play a crucial role in maintaining system performance and reliability after commissioning.

This consistency was further confirmed by the Outstanding Operational Excellence Award from LAPP Indonesia, which recognized Xurya’s ability to consistently manage more than 300 solar energy projects and ensure the stability and reliability of operational systems.
“Thanks to its implementation experience across diverse sectors, technical expertise, and consistently maintained service quality, Xurya will continue to support the industrial and commercial sectors in building a more resilient energy system ready to meet long-term operational needs, while simultaneously contributing to accelerating the energy transition in Indonesia,” said Edwin. ***rel
