SI MiKE SU brings the 11th North Sumatra Scout Jamboree to life
The Provincial Government of North Sumatra (Pemprov), through the North Sumatran Agency for Communication and Information (Diskominfo), is introducing the service “SI MiKE SU” (North Sumatra Electronic Mobile Information System) during the 11th North Sumatra Scout Jamboree in 2026.
This service demonstrates the commitment of the Provincial Government of North Sumatra to strengthen digital literacy and improve the technological skills of the younger generation.

SI MiKE SU functions as a digital educational platform that presents a variety of interactive, multimedia learning materials.
Through a communicative and educational approach, this service offers an engaging learning environment for thousands of Jamboree participants from 33 regions/cities in North Sumatra.
“SI MiKE SU’s participation in the 11th Regional Jamboree, which will take place from July 8 to 12, 2026, at the Sibolangit campsite, is part of the North Sumatra Provincial Government’s commitment to developing high-quality human capital capable of adapting to technological advancements,” said Erwin Hotmansah Harahap, Head of the North Sumatran Agency for Communication and Information Technology.
According to Erwin, the scouting movement is a strategic platform for character building and the development of future leaders. Therefore, the younger generation must be equipped with the skills to use technology intelligently, creatively, safely, and responsibly.

“Through SI MiKE SU, we hope that participants can become pioneers in the field of digital literacy in schools, families, and communities,” said Erwin.
He also emphasized that the rapid development of digital technology brings both opportunities and challenges. Therefore, efforts to improve digital literacy must be continuously intensified. “Digital literacy must be improved so that the public not only has access to information but is also capable of critical thinking, filtering accurate information, protecting personal data, and using the digital space positively and responsibly,” says Erwin.
In addition to being an educational tool, SI MiKE SU also serves as a medium for disseminating development information and various priority programs of the North Sumatra Provincial Government to the public.
