This positive performance was also reflected in the growth of the company’s assets, which amounted to 186.33 trillion Indonesian rupees, an increase of 53.9% compared to 121.1 trillion Indonesian rupees last year. The growth in assets was driven by gross outstanding loans (OSL) at the national level, which rose to 155.1 trillion Indonesian rupees, an increase of 52.7% compared to 101.5 trillion Indonesian rupees in the previous year.
On the other hand, the quality of financing has also improved, as evidenced by a decrease in the non-performing loan (NPL) ratio from 0.81% on June 30, 2025, to 0.71% on June 30, 2026.
This positive growth is also reflected in the performance of PT Pegadaian Regional Office I Medan. As of June 30, 2026, Regional Office I Medan recorded a net profit of 725.7 billion Indonesian rupees, an increase of 48% year-on-year. The gross profit (OSL) of Regional Office I Medan reached 11.53 trillion Indonesian rupees, an increase of 53% compared to the 7.5 trillion rupees of the previous year. The growth of the OSL at Regional Office I Medan, which exceeded the national average, demonstrates the high demand for Pegadaian’s products and services from North Sumatra and Aceh.
Damar Latri Setiawan, President and CEO of PT Pegadaian (Persero), stated: “Alhamdulillah (thank God), Pegadaian continues to achieve performance growth despite economic and geopolitical challenges.”
