The Public Prosecution Service seizes tin stock of convicted Tamron in Bangka Belitung
The team of the Directorate of Extraordinary Legal Efforts, Execution and Investigation (UHLBEE), led by the Junior Prosecutor General for Special Crimes (JAM PIDSUS), in cooperation with the Executive Prosecutor of the Public Prosecution Service of South Jakarta, has seized two batches of tin weighing 49,486 kg and 54,960 kg respectively, which belonged to the convicted Amron, also known as Aon.
The seizure took place on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the smelter warehouse of PT Menara Cipta Mulia (MCM) in the village of Mentawak, East Belitung District, Bangka Belitung Province.

The case concerns corruption and money laundering in connection with the trade in tin within the mining permit area (IUP) of PT Timah Tbk during the period 2015-2022.
In addition, the Public Prosecution Service also seized 58 jumbo bales from the PT Timah Tbk warehouse in Gantung, East Bangka.
The 49,486 kg of tin was divided into 11 types, including:
• 12 (twelve) slag bales, totaling 14,470 kg and an average tin content of 62.21%;
• 11 (eleven) big bags of crystal tin and tin dust, totaling 14,419 kg, with an average tin content of 59.43%;
• 3 (three) bales of slag in big bags, totaling 1,096 kg, with an average tin content of 99.33%; • One piece of pewter in a big bag, weighing 592 kg, with a tin content of 98.59%;
• Two proof coins in a big bag, weighing 1,359 kg, with an average tin content of 99.95%;
• Four pieces of pewter, weighing 6,927 kg, with an average tin content of 85.35%;
• Four pieces of slag in a big bag, weighing 5,858 kg, with an average tin content of 70.59%;
• One piece of slag waste weighing 1,724 kg and with a tin content of 92.31%;
• One piece of slag waste in a bin weighing 1,821 kg and with a tin content of 99.33%;
• One (671 kg) big bag of crystal slag waste with a tin content of 99.40%; • One (549 kg) big bag of crystal slag waste with a tin content of 99.33%.
The 54,960 kg of tin was further subdivided into five categories:
• Twenty-eight (28) tin dust particles with a total weight of 22.540 kg and an average tin content of 65.28%.
• Twenty-two (22) slag blocks with a total weight of 22.205 kg and an average tin content of 27%.
• Four (4) tin-iron blocks, with a total weight of 4.975 kg and an average tin content of 52.39%.
• Two slags, with a total weight of 2.035 kg and an average tin content of 55%.
• One casting slag with a weight of 3.205 kg and a tin content of 99.94%. Based on the facts presented during the trial, it has been proven that the tin and the big bags were under the control of PT Menara Cipta Mulia (MCM), of which the defendant, Tamron, also known as Aon, has admitted ownership. Although Taskin and Rahmadi Toha are listed as directors in the company’s articles of incorporation, PT MCM is actually controlled by the defendant, Tamron, also known as Aon.

Therefore, it can be concluded that the seized tin is the property of the defendant and is legally subject to confiscation and subsequent auction. The proceeds of the auction will be used in full to pay the damages imposed on the defendant, Tamron, also known as Aon. ***adh
