Telkomsel Named Fastest Mobile Network: Recognition for Best Mobile Coverage
Telkomsel’s excellent customer experience was once again confirmed by independent data from Ookla.
At the Ookla Speedtest Awards™ 2026 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Telkomsel received five major awards for the performance of its mobile network in Indonesia, based on measurements of actual user experiences in the third and fourth quarters of 2025.
With the highest Speed Score™, Telkomsel was named the fastest mobile network; average download speeds of 59.21 Mbps and upload speeds of 16.30 Mbps enabled customers to work, study, and share content faster.
Telkomsel Wins Best Mobile Video Experience and Best Mobile Gaming Experience
The Best Mobile Coverage recognition confirms the broadest coverage based on over 1.6 billion signal scans, guaranteeing reliable connections from cities to remote areas.
For digital entertainment, Telkomsel earned the Best Mobile Video Experience award with a high Video Streaming Score™, 99.64% buffer-free video sessions, and 92.84% Full HD playback. The company also won the Best Mobile Gaming Experience award thanks to its Game Score™, which calculates latency and jitter on real game servers and ensures more responsive gameplay.
This combination of qualities earned Telkomsel the Best Mobile Network award based on its Speedtest Connectivity Score™, which reflects the overall experience (speed, latency, browsing, and video).
