Secretary-General of the Ministry of Manpower, Cris Kuntadi, stated that integrity in governance requires discipline and alignment between the planning and execution of tasks across all units.

Transparency and accountability also serve as the foundation for fulfilling the mandate set forth in Article 27, paragraph (2), of the 1945 Constitution.

“What we document must be implemented, and what we implement must be documented. Both morally and legally, our goal is to provide all Indonesians with the broadest possible access to employment. This significant responsibility demands hard work and consistency from us all,” Cris remarked during his speech.

Cris explained that the Ministry of Manpower collaborates with other ministries and institutions, the private sector, NGOs, and the media. This cooperation is essential for increasing employment opportunities, reducing unemployment, and disseminating information about government programs—including verified job vacancies—to the public.

“We must be more proactive in disseminating this positive information, so that the public can directly experience how the government contributes to job creation and provides solutions,” he said.

Faried Abdurrahman Nur Yuliono, Head of the Public Relations Bureau at the Ministry of Manpower, stated that the 2026 Public Information Governance Award also serves as a means to evaluate the implementation of public information services within the Ministry.

This evaluation focuses on efforts to improve the quality of services, ensuring they are transparent, accurate, and tailored to the public’s needs.

Hafidhah Farwa, Vice Chair of the Central Information Commission, expressed her appreciation for the consistency with which the Ministry of Manpower has maintained its status as an “Informative” public body throughout the Central Information Commission’s monitoring and evaluation process.

According to her, this achievement is supported by the commitment of the leadership, which is carried out through the Chief Information Officer (PPID), the Executive Information Officer (PPID), and regional work units.

“Information transparency is not measured solely by the fulfillment of administrative obligations; it must also ensure that information is accurate, easy to understand, and accessible to all segments of society, including vulnerable groups and people with disabilities,” she said.

During the event, the Ministry of Manpower announced the winners across two categories. In the Social Media category of the Ministry of Manpower’s 2026 awards, the Regional Public Vocational Training Center (BBPVP) in Semarang took first place, followed by the BBPVP in Serang in second place, and the Labor Market Center in third.

In the Public Information Disclosure (PPID) category of the Ministry of Manpower’s 2026 awards, the BBPVP in Serang secured first place, followed by the Regional Public Vocational Training Center (BPVP) in Padang in second place, and the BPVP in Aceh in third.

***rel
