PT PPSU partners with the Chinese Embassy for the delivery of 200 dialysis machines and a 300 MW solar power plant
PT Pembangunan Infrasarana Sumatera Utara (PPSU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chinese Embassy to support the strengthening of healthcare and the development of green energy in North Sumatra.
The collaboration includes the delivery of 200 dialysis machines and the construction of a solar power plant (PLTS) with a capacity of 300 megawatts.

The Governor of North Sumatra, Muhammad Bobby Afif Nasution, stated that the MoU represents a joint effort to achieve sustainable development in North Sumatra. He believes that this collaboration is a concrete step towards greater benefits for the community.
“Hopefully, this collaboration is the beginning of more investments in North Sumatra, creating new jobs and more opportunities that will stimulate economic growth and community well-being,” said Bobby after the signing of the MoU between PT PPSU and the Chinese Embassy in Jakarta.
The Indonesian Ambassador to China, Djauhari Oratmangun, who witnessed the signing, stated that North Sumatra is one of the priority regions in Indonesia’s economic corridor. Therefore, he invited Chinese businesspeople to invest in North Sumatra.
“Several projects are already underway in North Sumatra, but most still take place in a context of cooperation between governments (G-to-G) or between state-owned enterprises. This time, we are shifting the focus to cooperation between private parties via the government. Hopefully, this is a good start to creating investment opportunities,” said Djauhari.

He also revealed that a special forum on North Sumatra will soon be held in China. Similar forums have previously been organized in various provinces in Indonesia with positive results.
“Hopefully, this is the beginning of even more intensive cooperation between the province of North Sumatra and China,” he said.

Meanwhile, Xu Qifei, a representative of PT CNEC Engineering Indonesia, stated that the signing of the agreement is an attempt to strengthen the various opportunities to be included in the strategic cooperation map between Indonesia and China.
