President Prabowo Subianto has issued a clear order for a complete overhaul of the governance of the free nutritious meals program (MBG).

This measure was taken in response to numerous reports of alleged monopolistic practices, abuse of power, and actions by individuals who allegedly reduced the food portions children should receive.
This situation is considered contrary to the primary objective of the program, namely improving the nutritional quality of the young generation in Indonesia.
The President emphasized that the state budget allocated to the free nutritious meals program must be fully utilized for the benefit of the community.
No one may pursue personal gain at the expense of children’s right to nutritious food.
