House robbed, grandmother murdered, granddaughter kidnapped by neighbor
A brutal murder committed by a neighbor took place in Hamlet V, Pulau Gambar village, Serba Jadi district, Serdang Bedagai regency.
According to the information gathered, it was initially suspected that the victim, known as Grandma Ira, had been kidnapped by the perpetrator, who was also her neighbor.
After a search, during which the perpetrator’s wife was also arrested by police and local residents, it was ultimately determined that the victim had been murdered.
Perpetrator still at large, police searching
The murder is believed to have been committed after a robbery carried out by Z, the victim’s neighbor, whom police are still searching for.
The dismantling of the victim’s grave is still being watched by local residents, who are waiting for the police to evacuate and investigate the scene. The area has also been cordoned off.
The perpetrator also kidnapped the victim’s granddaughter.
“The victim has been missing since last Thursday, while her three-year-old granddaughter has reportedly been kidnapped for a month by her neighbor, identified as Z. Local residents and police have also questioned the perpetrator’s wife, identified as A, also known as Utet. The victim was apparently murdered, and her body was found this morning in a garbage bin under a coconut tree. The three-year-old is still missing,” said Maya, a relative.
Serdang Bedagai police are currently evacuating the victim.***
