The village chief of Tanjung Harap has filed a fraud complaint with the police.
A fraud complaint has been filed against the village chief of Tanjung Harap, Serba Jadi district, Serdang Bedagai (Sergai) regency, whose initials are D (53).
The victim, Sofiah (48), a resident of Pekan Dolok Masihul, Dolok Masihul District, filed a police report under number LP/B/174/V/2025/SPKT/Sergai Police/North Sumatra Regional Police, dated May 21, 2025.
Sergai Bedagai Police are handling the victim’s complaint and summoning the suspect.
AKP Chief of Detectives Binrod Situngkir confirmed that the suspect is suspected of being interrogated by the village chief with the initials D.
“Investigators have summoned the suspect for interrogation. The summons will be carried out in phases. If they are ignored without valid reason, investigators will take decisive action in accordance with legal procedures,” AKP Binrod Situngkir stated on Friday (February 13, 2026).
Meanwhile, the victim’s legal advisor, Joko Pramono, S.H., of Alamsyah Associates Law Office, explained that the crime occurred in January 2025 at Jalan Bisnis Center, Pekan Dolok Masihul Village, Dolok Masihul District, Serdang Bedagai.
“We hope the police will act decisively and professionally in accordance with applicable law,” he said.***
