The Ministry of Manpower reaffirms its commitment to strengthening human resources and expanding employment opportunities

The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) views the commemoration of the 81st anniversary of Indonesian independence as an impetus to continue strengthening the quality of human resources (HR) and expanding employment opportunities for the community.

This spirit was palpable during a series of events marking the 81st anniversary of Indonesian independence, including a carnival in Jakarta attended by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Minister of Manpower Yassierli stated that the spirit of independence serves as a reminder to continue implementing policies that provide people with access to work and enhance their competencies.

“The spirit of independence energizes us to further build Indonesia through superior, competent, and competitive human resources. We will continue to expand competency development so that people are increasingly well-prepared to enter the labor market,” said Yassierli.

The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) carries out these efforts through various programs, including National Vocational Training, National Internships, Employment Polytechnics, and KarirHub. These programs offer citizens the opportunity to improve their competencies, gain work experience, participate in vocational education, and access information and job vacancies tailored to the needs of the workforce.

Strengthening human resources and expanding employment opportunities go hand in hand with efforts to create a safe, productive, inclusive, and equitable work environment. Therefore, the Ministry of Manpower continues to strengthen occupational health and safety (K3) and industrial relations.
