This case was discovered on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at approximately 8:30 PM WIB on Jalan Setia Budi, Pasar II, Tanjung Sari, Medan Selayang.
Ferry stated that the three arrested individuals were identified as Sarjudi (35), a driver from Sawang Tubeh, Kaweh Namla District, West Aceh Regency, Aceh Province.
Also arrested was Coki Doli Simatupang (34), a resident of Jalan Syiah Kuala Kuta Padang, Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh, Aceh Province.
“The third suspect is Yasir Arafah (43), a resident of Jalan Pinang Baris, Medan Sunggal, Medan City,” Ferry said on Tuesday (February 10, 2026).
Police Seize Evidence
In this case, Ferry continued, his team seized several pieces of evidence. These included two bags of marijuana weighing 20 kilograms, three mobile phones, and a silver Daihatsu Terios with license plate BL 1308 EO.
“Initial interrogation revealed that the suspects admitted to having obtained the 20 kilograms of marijuana from a man with the initials MIN or Bang MIN, who lives in Aceh Regency. The team then tried to investigate the case further and contacted the man’s phone number (Bang MIN), but it was no longer in service and could not be traced,” the spokesperson said.
