As a demonstration of social commitment, Pegadaian Medan organizes mass circumcision for 100 children
As a concrete expression of social and environmental responsibility (TJSL) and the implementation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects, the regional office of PT Pegadaian (Persero) in Kanwil, Medan, organized a mass circumcision on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
The event, themed “Mass Circumcision: Healthy, Joyful, and Blessed,” took place in a solemn and joyful atmosphere at the regional office of PT Pegadaian in Medan, Jl. Pegadaian No. 112 AUR, Maimun District, Medan.
A total of 100 children had registered for this mass circumcision. This national program, which PT Pegadaian (Persero) is organizing throughout 2026, aims to provide adequate and free healthcare to people in need.
The event was attended by various key stakeholders, both within and outside the company. The presence of these individuals confirmed their full support for Pegadaian’s welfare program.
Among the internal attendees were Yohanis Wulang, Head of PT Pegadaian (Persero) Regional Office 1 in Medan, Wawan Triyadi, Deputy Director of Operations, Fozan Wahyu Praptono, Deputy Director of Business Medan 1, Heri Susianto, Deputy Director of Business Medan 2, and the department heads of Regional Office I in Medan.
Also present was a religious leader and charismatic cleric, Buya Prof. Dr. KH. Amiruddin MS, MA, MBA, Ph.D., who offered prayers and blessings for the successful outcome of the event and the future of the children participating in the circumcision.
“With the 2026 circumcision program, PT Pegadaian is committed to providing concrete benefits to the community, supporting the health of children as the future generation of our country, and strengthening the spirit of care, togetherness, and sustainability,” stated Yohanis Wulang, Head of PT Pegadaian Regional Office 1 (Persero) in Medan.
With this initiative, Pegadaian is present in the community and emphasizes that Pegadaian focuses not only on financial services but also has a positive social impact that is directly felt by the residents.
Pegadaian also supports the growth and development of Indonesian children through mass circumcisions. This is the company’s step to preserve physical health and shape a healthy, strong, and confident future generation.
