Expansion of services: Pegadaian Medan opens “ALI n AP” pawn shop

This commitment is demonstrated by the opening of a new pawn shop owned by Agent Adek Pane, the Pegadaian ALI n AP agent house, located at Jalan Ir. H. Juanda No. 47, Medan Polonia.

This opening marks a positive expansion for Agent Adek Pane, which now officially has three Pegadaian agent houses spread across strategic locations in Medan:
1. Agent Adek Pane: Jl. Brigjen Katamso No. 14 B, Medan Maimun. 2. ALI n AP agent outlet: Jl. Ir. H. Juanda no. 47, Medan Polonia.
3. Khaila Putri Agent Outlet: Jl. Halat no. 47, Medan Area.

The opening ceremony was a solemn event, attended by key officials of Pegadaian and external partners. Pegadaian agents in the Medan region were also present.
Internal representatives of Pegadaian were present to express their full support: Yohanis Wulang (Head of PT Pegadaian Regional Office 1 Medan); Edwin S. Ingkiriwang (Director of Pegadaian’s LSP); Nur Fadli & Team (Head of the Agency Department, Head Office); Titin & Team (Head of the Pawnshop Department Medan Area 1); and Lily Hastuty Damanik & Team (Head of Network and Service). With the opening of the ALI n AP (Ali & Adek Pane) Pegadaian Agent branches, management hopes that these branches can grow and develop in a healthy manner, while simultaneously sustainably increasing revenue and continuing to provide the best service to the public.
The presence of these new branches is expected to facilitate public access to Pegadaian’s various financial services, increase the number of active customers, and generate a tangible economic impact and benefits for the surrounding area.

Furthermore, the Ali & Adek Pane Pegadaian Agents are expected to become professional, reliable strategic partners of Pegadaian and actively contribute to the expansion of service coverage.
Growth of the Pegadaian agent network in the Medan region
This opening also contributes to strengthening the agent network under the auspices of Regional Office I Medan, which covers North Sumatra and Aceh. Pegadaian Regional Office I Medan currently has 2,093 active agents, consisting of 2,021 regular agents offering marketing and payment services, and 72 premium agents handling pawn transactions.
