Youth of ICMI North Sumatra Regional Office Sacrifice with Journalists in Medan City — Youth of the Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals Association (ICMI) North Sumatra Regional Office carried out the slaughtering of sacrificial cows with the Medan City Journalist community.
This togetherness was conveyed by the Chairperson of ICMI North Sumatra Irwansyah Putra Nasution SH MH, accompanied by Jefry Saturday, May 7, 2025.
He said, one cow weighing 80 – 90 kg was given to the Medan City Journalist Community.
Hopefully, with the slaughtering of this sacrificial animal, we can all strive to become better people in the future.
“Scholars unite with fellow Journalists to share together,” said Irwansyah Putra Nasution.
Youth of ICMI North Sumatra also expressed their gratitude to Brigadier General Ronny Samtana who helped make the sacrificial activity a success.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Qurban Committee, Budi Hermansyah, a former TV One Contributor, greatly appreciated the readiness of the qurban committee. “There were 2 cows and 4 ejor goats that were slaughtered,” he explained.
The committee expressed their gratitude to the donors and benefactors.
Budi continued, the qurban meat will be distributed to fellow journalists and those who are entitled to receive it. ***
