When the fire broke out, residents tried to save themselves and their belongings. Residents panicked as the flames quickly spread and destroyed the entire building.

Fire suspected of short circuit
According to information gathered, the two burned houses belonged to Runggun Ginting and Ali Usman Siregar, residents of Penara Kebun village.
The fire was likely caused by a short circuit that destroyed Runggun Ginting’s house. Because the two houses were adjacent, the fire also spread to Ali Usman Siregar’s house, reducing both houses to ashes.
