The Provincial Government of North Sumatra is optimistic about the timely completion of the procurement of goods and services
The Provincial Government of North Sumatra (Pemprov), through the Office for the Procurement of Goods and Services (PBJ), continues to accelerate and optimize the procurement process for goods and services to ensure that all phases are completed on schedule.
This step is being taken to limit the risk of project failure, guarantee optimal budget realization, and ensure uninterrupted public services.

Yuda Prastya, Head of the Procurement of Goods and Services Department at the Provincial Secretariat of North Sumatra, stated that input into the General Procurement Plan Information System (SIRUP) had reached 100% as of April 1, 2026.
The total General Procurement Plan (RUP) amounted to 5.7 trillion Indonesian rupees, of which 5.3 trillion Indonesian rupees were spent on procurement costs. “The total realization of the procurement of goods and services has reached 1,478 packages, valued at 1.8 trillion Indonesian rupees, or 50.34%.
To accelerate procurement, we are monitoring the input from regional government agencies (OPDs) within the framework of the SIRUP program. According to him, the procurement of goods and services is taking place via e-purchase, direct appointment/direct tendering (PL/D), and procurement procedures. Although various regional government agencies still have a procurement realization rate of less than 75%, and some even less than 25%, he is optimistic that all procurement packages will be released this month.
Yuda explained that the tenders for completed construction projects now comprise 79 packages, with a value of 1.184 trillion Indonesian rupees. Additionally, 24 packages are still in the tendering process, and another 22 will be tendered shortly.
For the selection of consultancy services, 53 packages have been completed, with a value of 31.104 billion Indonesian rupees. Fifty packages are still in the selection process, and five packages will be tendered shortly.
Tenders for construction projects have been finalized by a number of regional public authorities (OPDs), including the Public Works Agency (Bina Marga), the Construction and Public Works Agency (Bina Konstruksi) for 53 packages, the Youth and Sports Agency (one package), the Labour Agency (two packages), the Environment and Forestry Agency (one package), the Education Agency (seven packages), and the Water Resources Agency (15 packages).

“The already completed procurements for goods and services include the improvement of the provincial road infrastructure on the Sipiongot-Labuhanbatu border section in North Padang Lawas District, the improvement of the provincial road infrastructure on the Sipiongot-South Tapanuli (Tolang) border section in North Padang Lawas District, and the improvement of the provincial road infrastructure on the Hutaimbaru-Sipiongot section in North Padang Lawas District.
