Indrawan, Director of Human Capital Management at Telkomsel, stated that Telkomsel is fully committed to helping young people discover their potential and prepare for their future.
Many students possess great potential, yet not everyone gets the chance to experience the working world and test their skills through relevant experiences.
“Virtuship offers students the opportunity to learn from projects that closely mirror real-world business practices, receive feedback, and build a portfolio in preparation for the professional world,” said Indrawan. Telkom University Rector Prof. Dr. Suyanto, S.T., M.Sc., emphasized that practical experience in the corporate world is crucial for preparing students for the rapidly changing demands of the labor market.
Through Virtuship, students can link their on-campus learning experiences to real-world professional challenges. “We hope this program helps students better understand their competencies, adapt more effectively, and be better prepared to make a contribution after their studies,” he said.

Strengthening educational collaboration with Telkom
The launch of Virtuship was further bolstered by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding synergy to leverage the joint potential of Telkomsel and the Telkom Education Foundation (YPT).
This MoU lays the foundation for expanding collaboration in education and talent development, and for utilizing the capabilities of both parties to advance the Indonesian education system.
