The raid led by the Head of the Medan Police Narcotics Unit, AKBP Thommy Aruan, upon arrival at THM Kripton, Jalan Gajah Mada, police personnel immediately conducted urine tests on visitors.
The results of the urine test showed that officers did not find any visitors who were indicated to be using drugs.
After THM Kripton, the police headed to the location of the nightlife venue, namely THM New Zone on Jalan Mangkubumi.
At this place, officers secured several visitors who were indicated to be drug users after undergoing urine tests.
“There are two night entertainment venues that we raided. This is in accordance with the order from the leadership, and to respond to reports from the public that were submitted to us,” said AKBP Thommy Aruan, Saturday, May 31, 2025.
He said that the Medan Police are currently investigating the origin of the drugs used by visitors, whether they were used in the night entertainment venues or before those people came to the THM.
“We want to make sure that entertainment venues are not places to consume, let alone become places for drug distribution. It must be clean there, and these raids will continue to ensure everything,” he concluded. ***
