Ministry of Manpower Prepares Job Access for Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed) Students and Alumni
The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) and Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed) are collaborating on follow-up projects to improve labor market access for students and alumni. One of the agenda items is the extension of the cooperation agreement (Memorandum of Understanding, or MoU) between the two institutions.
“One of the key agenda items requiring follow-up is the extension of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Manpower and Jenderal Soedirman University,” stated Cris Kuntadi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Manpower, during the Ministry’s program outreach event at Unsoed in Purwokerto on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Cris hopes the MoU will serve as a foundation for implementing various employment programs, including the provision of labor market information, competency development, internships, and employment facilitation for Unsoed students and alumni.
According to him, strengthening follow-up studies is also crucial for gaining insight into the situation of graduates after completing their studies. Data regarding the time taken to find employment, the alignment between fields of study and jobs, and competency requirements can form the basis for developing more targeted competency development and job placement programs.
Furthermore, Unsoed students and alumni can utilize various services within the SIAPkerja ecosystem, including Karirhub, Skillhub, Maganghub, Sertifhub, and Bizhub. These services provide information on job vacancies, training, internships, certifications, and entrepreneurship development.
Cris emphasized the importance of communication and coordination between the Ministry of Labour and Unsoed to set the strategic direction, establish priority programs, and ensure effective follow-up on the collaboration.

***rel
