Kahiyang Ayu Appreciates the I HEART PKK Program in Tebingtinggi
Chair of the Team for Empowerment and Family Welfare (TP PKK) of North Sumatra Province (Sumut) Kahiyang Ayu appreciated the TP PKK of Tebingtinggi City for implementing the AKU HATINYA PKK (Practice and Strengthen Beautiful, Orderly, Beautiful and Comfortable Yard) Program.
This appreciation was conveyed by Kahiyang Ayu when carrying out monitoring in the context of North Sumatra Province PKK Unity Movement Day (HKG) 2026 at the Rantau Laban Village Head Office, Rambutan District, Tebingtinggi City, Wednesday, Juni, 17, 2026.

“I appreciate the TP PKK Tebingtinggi City for implementing the I HEART PKK Program well. This program is very important for encouraging family food security, utilizing home gardens, as well as creating a beautiful, healthy and comfortable environment,” said Kahiyang Ayu.
This monitoring activity not only aims to carry out assessments, but also provides momentum to see directly the implementation of the 10 PKK Main Programs in the community as well as the commitment of all PKK levels in carrying out sustainable work program development.
Through PKK programs and activities, it is hoped that people will increasingly optimally use their home gardens to support family food security, plant family medicinal plants, carry out reforestation, utilize used goods, and implement good household management.
The various innovations that have been developed, such as the use of lemongrass and turmeric plants and the processing of used goods, are clear examples of community creativity in supporting this program.

The monitoring implementation closed with a direct inspection of the use of residents’ yards by Kahiyang Ayu together with the Chair of the Tebingtinggi City TP PKK Susmita Wanti Irdian Saragih.
Also present were the Regional Secretary of Tebingtinggi City, Erwin Suheri Damanik, the Secretary and Assessment Team of the North Sumatra PKK TP, the sub-district head and chairman of the TP PKK, Rambutan District, the village head and chairman of the sub-district TP PKK, PKK partners from PT Inalum, PT Mahakam, and PTPN, as well as Tebingtinggi City PKK administrators and cadres. ***rel
