Iran threatens to destroy American tech companies

Reports are circulating that Iran has threatened to destroy the facilities of major American technology companies, including Apple, Google, Microsoft, and twelve others, on April 1, 2026.

This threat is a retaliatory action for American and Israeli attacks on Iran. Iran accuses these companies of supplying AI and cloud infrastructure that allows the US and Israel to track down and assassinate Iranian leaders.

Rico Crypto’s TikTok post highlighted the potential global impact if this threat were to become a reality, including disruption of cloud services and financial markets.

Iran threatens to destroy tech companies

Iran has threatened to destroy the facilities of 15 major technology companies on April 1, 2026. This threat is a retaliatory action for the American and Israeli attacks on Iran since late February. The IRGC (the Iranian elite security service) has issued an official warning via state media.

Iran’s modus operandi

Whenever an Iranian leader is assassinated, a facility belonging to the company in question will be destroyed.

The deadline for evacuation is 8:00 PM local time in Tehran on the same day.

Employees and residents within a 1 km radius must evacuate immediately.

List of threatened companies

The threatened companies include Apple, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Intel, Cisco, HP, Oracle, IBM, Dell, Palantir, Nvidia, Tesla, Boeing, General Electric, JP Morgan, G42 (Abu Dhabi), and Spire Solutions (Dubai).

Palantir is an AI company that supports the US military. Nvidia is a manufacturer of GPU chips.

G42 and Spire Solutions are technology companies from the Middle East that collaborate with the US. Reasons for the Iranian threat

Iran accuses these companies of playing a key role in designing and tracking targets for assassination attempts.

They accuse Microsoft, Oracle, and Palantir of supplying AI and cloud infrastructure that allows the US and Israel to track Iranian leaders.

Iran views this action as outright war.

Potential impact of the Iranian threat

AWS data centers in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain were hit by Iranian drones last month. If Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud in the Middle East were to fail, thousands of applications, exchanges, and blockchain nodes could be affected.

This news could cause panic in financial markets and trigger a decline in high-risk assets, including cryptocurrencies.

This situation has been described as the first technology war in history. ***
