Indonesian Skills Competition (Inaskill) 2026: Efforts to Train Competent Mobile Phone Technicians
Rapid technological advancements require mobile phone technicians to possess competencies that align with the needs of the business and industrial sectors (DUDI).
Technicians must be able to adapt to the latest innovations, possess analytical and problem-solving skills, and master service and workplace safety standards.

Deputy Minister of Manpower Afriansyah Noor stated that enhancing technician competence must go hand in hand with opportunities for competition. Therefore, the Ministry of Manpower is including the mobile phone technician category in the 2026 Indonesian Skills Competition (Inaskill) for the first time.
“Technicians are welcome to participate, and this marks the first time the mobile phone technician category has been included in our competition. The final will be organized by the Directorate General of Binalavotas,” said Afriansyah during the closing ceremony of the World Cup Circuit Global Championship (CGC) Indonesia 2026 at the Ministry of Manpower building in Jakarta on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
The competition in the mobile phone technician category will take place at the Ministry of Manpower’s vocational training facility at Jl. Gatot Subroto No. 44, South Jakarta. The Ministry of Manpower encourages mobile phone technicians across Indonesia to prepare for this national competition.
According to Afriansyah, the demand for technicians is growing in tandem with technological progress. Therefore, the skills of technicians must be continuously adapted to keep pace with innovations and the needs of the industry.

“In this way, the quality of the national technical workforce can meet the demands of an increasingly modern business and industrial landscape,” he said.
Afriansyah hopes the competition will contribute to efforts to enhance the quality of Indonesian technicians, allowing them to further hone their skills and compete on a global stage.
“The Ministry of Manpower hopes that Indonesian technicians will be further tested and become capable of competing globally. We are also encouraging the mobile phone technician community across Indonesia to prepare for this national competition,” he stated.

Indonesia Skills Competition (Inaskill) 2026 : Upaya Menyiapkan Teknisi Ponsel yang Kompeten
Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat menuntut teknisi ponsel memiliki kompetensi sesuai kebutuhan dunia usaha dan dunia industri (DUDI).
Teknisi perlu adaptif terhadap inovasi terbaru, memiliki kemampuan analisis dan pemecahan masalah, serta menguasai standar pelayanan dan keselamatan kerja.
Wakil Menteri Ketenagakerjaan (Wamenaker), Afriansyah Noor mengatakan, peningkatan kompetensi teknisi perlu diikuti dengan kesempatan berkompetisi. Karena itu, Kemnaker untuk pertama kalinya memasukkan kategori teknisi ponsel dalam Indonesia Skills Competition (Inaskill) 2026.
“Teman-teman teknisi boleh ikut dan ini baru pertama kali lomba teknisi ponsel masuk kategori lomba yang kita siapkan. Finalnya nanti akan diadakan oleh Ditjen Binalavotas,” kata Afriansyah saat menutup World Cup Circuit Global Championship (CGC) Indonesia 2026 di Gedung Kemnaker, Jakarta, Minggu, 27 September 2026.
Kategori teknisi ponsel tersebut akan dilombakan di Gedung Vokasi Kemnaker, Jl.Gatot Subroto No.44, Jakarta Selatan. Kemnaker juga memotivasi komunitas teknisi ponsel di seluruh Indonesia untuk mempersiapkan diri menghadapi kompetisi nasional tersebut.
Menurut Afriansyah, tuntutan terhadap teknisi semakin berkembang seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi. Karena itu, kemampuan teknisi perlu terus disesuaikan dengan perkembangan inovasi dan kebutuhan industri.
“Dengan begitu, kualitas SDM teknisi nasional dapat menjawab kebutuhan dunia usaha dan dunia industri (DUDI) yang semakin modern,” katanya.
Afriansyah berharap kompetisi tersebut dapat menjadi bagian dari upaya meningkatkan kualitas teknisi Indonesia agar semakin teruji dan mampu bersaing secara global.
“Kemnaker berharap teknisi Indonesia semakin teruji dan mampu bersaing secara global. Kami juga memotivasi komunitas teknisi ponsel di seluruh Indonesia untuk mempersiapkan diri menghadapi kompetisi nasional tersebut,” ujarnya.
Sementara itu, CGC Indonesia 2026 yang ditutup Wamenaker menghasilkan tujuh pemenang yang berhak mengikuti CGC World Cup 2026 di Poly World Trade Center Expo (PWTC Expo), Guangzhou, Tiongkok, pada 10–11 Oktober 2026. ***rel
