On the occasion of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijria, Telkomsel is once again distributing sacrificial animals to the community in various regions of Indonesia through its CSR program “Connect Smiles.” This is part of Telkomsel’s ongoing commitment to creating a tangible social impact.

This annual program focuses on diverse groups in need, including underprivileged communities, foundations, hospitals serving vulnerable groups, and communities in areas with special needs.

The assistance is provided in various forms, from sacrificial animals to ready-made meals, to ensure that the benefits are experienced as broadly and effectively as possible.

The implementation of the program also involves collaboration with various parties, including humanitarian organizations, local SMEs, and strategic partners, thereby guaranteeing not only a social impact but also supporting economic activities at the local level. Thanks to this collaboration, 10 cows and 100 goats were donated to beneficiaries in the Sumatra region. The hundreds of sacrificial animals distributed to the beneficiaries are a tangible expression of our joint efforts to create a broader impact.

Saki H. Bramono, Vice President Consumer Business Area Sumatra at Telkomsel, stated that for Telkomsel, the celebration of Eid al-Adha is not only an act of sharing but also a reflection of our commitment to staying closer to the community.

“Every year, we strive to ensure that the aid provided not only reaches the recipients but actually benefits those who need it,” he said.

This CSR program also demonstrates Telkomsel’s collaboration with various parties. The aid in the form of sacrificial animals being distributed comes not only from Telkomsel as a company, but also from contributions by employees and the support of strategic partners who have placed their trust in the community.

By prioritizing the values of togetherness and caring, Telkomsel ensures that every social initiative it undertakes is not merely ceremonial, but yields relevant and sustainable benefits.
