Dogs with Rabies Disturb the Peace in the Residential Area on Jl. Skip, Lubuk Pakam
Five dogs from Panglong Deli Prima, located on Jalan Bakti II (Gudang Merah), Sekip Village, Lubukpakam District, Deli Serdang Regency, near Rahayu Alley, are roaming the neighborhood. This has worried residents and raised fears of rabies.
“There are five dogs roaming around from early morning until late at night. We are afraid that the children and other residents here might also contract rabies,” said Fani, a local resident, on Monday (March 9, 2026).

Fani, who represents the local residents, hopes that the Sekip village council, the Lubukpakam district council, the Deli Serdang Agriculture and Livestock Department, and other relevant parties can capture the rabies-infected dog so it no longer causes any nuisance to residents.
“We, the residents here, have alerted the government and asked for help in capturing the nuisance dogs before anything bad happens, so that the residents will no longer be bothered,” he requested.
Meanwhile, Sekip village chief Rahmat stated that his office had reprimanded the dog’s owner, Panglong Deli Prima, but that he ignored the reprimand.

“I gave the head of Bakti II commune an order, but the owner of Panglong ignored it,” said Sekip village chief Rahmat.
Separately, Ahmad, the village head of Bakti II, confirmed that his office had reprimanded the owner of Panglong Deli Prima and ordered him to keep his dog indoors and prevent it from running free.
“Local residents are already worried. I have already warned the owner of Panglong Deli Prima to keep his dog indoors, but he is still allowed to run free. This is very dangerous,” he concluded.***
