Attorney General Swears In Dozens of Senior Prosecutors and Second-Echelon Officials
On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Jakarta, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin swore in sixteen senior prosecutors and dozens of other second-echelon officials within the Public Prosecution Service.
Attorney General ST Burhanuddin urged his staff to act with integrity. He also emphasized the need for them to lead modest lives in order to restore public trust in the services and law enforcement activities of the Public Prosecution Service.
The Attorney General specifically instructed the senior prosecutors to establish strong synergy with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda). This is necessary to ensure regional stability without compromising the institution’s independence.
Furthermore, the Attorney General called upon the Adhyaksa personnel to enhance transparency with the public by actively and continuously publishing their performance results. He also called for strict internal supervision.
“This ensures there is no room for abuse of power and that any indication of misconduct is addressed vigorously and consistently in accordance with legal regulations,” said Burhanuddin.
On this occasion, the Attorney General also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the outgoing officials for their dedication and service during their tenures.

He also thanked the spouses of the Adhyaksa Dharma Karini Association leaders for their loyalty and support.

Mulyana; Deputy Attorneys General; heads of agencies; expert staff to the Attorney General; the head of the Attorney General’s expert team, Barita Simanjuntak; the Chairperson of the Dharma Karini Adhyaksa Association; along with all board members and second-echelon officials of the Public Prosecution Service.
