Kahiyang Ayu strengthens the competence of PKK cadres and promotes the digitization of administration

Kahiyang Ayu, head of the PKK Mobilization Team (TP) of North Sumatra, opened the PKK Technical Guidance Meeting (Bimtek) for districts/cities throughout North Sumatra. This meeting is intended to improve the capacity and competence of PKK administrators and cadres. The activity also served as an impetus to strengthen coordination and join forces to improve the quality of PKK program implementation in all regions.

The Bimtek, which took place from July 21 to 23, 2026, at the Grand Aston Hotel, was attended by Titiek Sugiharti, expert of the PKK-TP North Sumatra, and all PKK chairpersons of the districts/cities in North Sumatra. “We hope that all participants will gain as much knowledge as possible from the speakers during this Bimtek,” said Kahiyang.

Kahiyang stated that the activity served as a forum to broaden their knowledge, strengthen coordination, and develop a joint commitment to improving the quality of the PKK’s program and activity implementation in their respective regions.

On that occasion, Kahiyang also announced that the North Sumatra Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK) had launched the Reporting and Data Information System (SIPANDA). This digital application is designed to support orderly administration, accelerate activity reporting, and encourage the implementation of a paperless system for all PKK administrators, from district/city to sub-district level.

“I also want to express my appreciation and gratitude to the speakers for sharing their knowledge with us,” she said. Meanwhile, Nitta Rosalin, Head of the Directorate for the Facilitation of Village Communities and Traditional Institutions, Family Development and Welfare, and Integrated Service Posts, was present as a speaker. In her presentation, she explained the PKK movement, its tasks and functions, and its institutional mechanisms.

According to her, the PKK is the largest, most extensive, and most influential community organization in Indonesia. Since its founding in 1967, the PKK is the only organization that reaches down to the family level.

The technical guidance is also intended to create a common understanding regarding the follow-up of the results of the 10th National Working Assembly (Rakernas) of the PKK. Through this activity, participants are expected to gain a deeper understanding of the role of the PKK in mobilizing, stimulating, and promoting the community’s potential to realize the 10 key PKK programs, as well as strengthening development through outreach, training, technical guidance, and mentoring at all levels, up to the dasa wisma (village group). ***rel
