The Deputy Governor of North Sumatra, Surya, expressed his appreciation for the North Sumatra Regional Police (Polda) for their dedication and commitment to maintaining security and supporting various development programs in the region.

According to him, the North Sumatra Regional Police continues to demonstrate its commitment to the community through various service and humanitarian tasks.

Surya stated that the contribution of the North Sumatra Regional Police extends beyond merely maintaining public order and safety, but also includes supporting regional development, monitoring inflation control, eradicating drug trafficking, safeguarding national interests, and assisting communities during disasters.

“For all this dedication, we express our greatest appreciation and gratitude. May every service be an act of worship and benefit the community, the region, the country, and the state,” said Surya during the celebration of the 80th Bhayangkara Day at the headquarters of the North Sumatra Regional Police, Jalan Sisingamangaraja Km 10.5, Medan.

Surya emphasized that the Provincial Government of North Sumatra (Pemprov) will continue to strengthen synergy with the North Sumatra Regional Police, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), stakeholders, and district/municipal administrations throughout North Sumatra.
