Man found dead on Adolina Perbaungan oil palm plantation
Residents of the village of Setaman, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, discovered a dead person on Thursday afternoon (March 26, 2026) on the oil palm plantation of PT PN IV Adolina Perbaungan.
Local residents arrived on the scene to see whose body lay beneath the oil palm.
Cause of death unknown
Information indicates that the man, who was wearing a black T-shirt and a cap, was from Perumnas, Gang Rambutan Melati II, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. It is not yet known whether the victim died of a disease or other factors. According to Zainul, the victim’s body did not smell of carrion, despite being stiff, which indicates that he had died recently.
Police have taken the victim away
“The body of a man, estimated to be in his forties, was found under an oil palm tree on the Adolina III plantation in PTPN IV, Perbaungan. It was not yet clear whether he had died recently. He was from Melati II, Gang Rambutan,” said Zainul.
Officers from the Perbaungan police station and the Inafis (Islamic Information Center) police in Serdang Bedagai arrived at the scene following a report from the public. The victim’s body was immediately identified and transported to the hospital.
