Motorcycle theft in Deliserdang is a risk area, residents should be alert
Another motorcycle theft has occurred in the Lubuk Pakam neighborhood of Deliserdang district. A white 2017 Honda Vario 125 with red accents was reported missing from a guesthouse on Jalan Ahmad Yani in the early hours of Saturday (February 21, 2026).
According to CCTV footage from the scene, the incident occurred around 1:55 a.m. West Indonesia Time.

The video shows two men entering the guesthouse parking lot and approaching the parked motorcycle.
The two perpetrators appear to have surveyed their surroundings before fleeing in the victim’s car. The car has license plate BK 5169 MAZ.
Police have not yet issued an official statement regarding the report or the progress of the investigation.
The victim has filed a police report.
“This incident serves as a warning to the public, especially residents of boarding houses and rental properties, to be extra vigilant. Make sure vehicles are properly locked and parked in a safe, secure location,” said Wijaya, a local resident, on Monday, February 23, 2026.
Wijaya also urged any residents with information about the motorcycle’s whereabouts to immediately report it to the nearest police station to assist the investigation.***
