Minister of Manpower Yassierli emphasized the importance of strengthening the ecosystem for human resource development by connecting vocational training, education and the industrial world to meet the challenges of digitalization and the development of artificial intelligence (AI).

He emphasized that human resource development is not only sufficient to prepare the young generation for the labor market, but should also encourage them to become innovators and creators of business opportunities.

“Young talents need to be prepared not only to be ready to work, but also to be able to create business opportunities and innovative solutions,” Yassierli said at the opening of the Talent & Innovation Hub Activation Series themed From Talent to Market at the West Bandung Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BPVP), West Java, Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Yassierli explained that the Talent & Innovation Hub is an effort by the Ministry of Manpower to strengthen the connection between vocational training, education and the industrial world to produce human resources that are productive, adaptive and globally competitive. “From learning to earning, from potential to productivity,” he said.

Meanwhile, Plt. Director General of Binapenta and PKK of Labor Ministry Estiarty Haryani said this program also aims at strengthening the birth of young entrepreneurs and innovation-based startups.

“Through the Talent & Innovation Hub, we want to provide an integrated space for talent development, starting from job readiness, entrepreneurial development, to network and market access,” said Estiarty.

On this occasion, a partnership was also signed with universities, companies, associations and foundations to strengthen synergies in talent development, job placement and empowerment of young workers and people with disabilities.

This activity was attended by around 1,200 offline and online participants from vocational alumni, job seekers, MSMEs, startups, universities, industry and communities. ***rel
