Three Narcotics Party men arrested by Dairi police


The Dairi Police Narcotics Investigation Unit succeeded in arresting three men suspected of abusing crystal methamphetamine in the Tigalingga District, Dairi Regency.

During these arrests, officers seized a total of thirteen packages of methamphetamine of varying sizes.

The three suspects each had the initials CAPP, RKK and RABM. Currently, all three are being held at Dairi Police Station to undergo further investigation and development processes.

Based on the information collected, the arrests were made separately from Monday (23/2/2026) to Tuesday (24/2/2026) in the early morning.

CAPP was first arrested at around 7pm WIB on Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Tigalingga. Officers recovered a package of methamphetamine from the man’s hands.

An hour later, at around 20.00 WIB, RKK was arrested in the Batuerdan area, Lau Sireme, Tigalingga, also with evidence of a package of crystal methamphetamine.

Meanwhile, RABM was arrested at Tanjung Selamat area, Lau Bagot, Tigalingga on Tuesday (24/2/2026) around 2am WIB.

From the suspect’s hands, the police confiscated 11 packages of crystal methamphetamine, bringing the total amount of evidence seized to 13 packages.

This arrest is part of the authorities’ intensive efforts to eradicate the distribution of narcotics within the jurisdiction of the Dairi Police.

The police are still investigating the possible involvement of other networks and the origin of the illegal goods.

Until this news was published, the Head of Public Relations of the Dairi Police, AKP Syahri Ramadhan Nasution, had not provided an official statement when confirmed via WhatsApp message.

The police urge the public to continue to play an active role in providing information if they become aware of suspicious activity related to drug trafficking in their respective environments, in order to safeguard the security and future of the young generation.***
