Minister of Labor Yassierli led the Pancasila Day commemoration ceremony with the theme “Pancasila Unites the Nation, the Foundation for World Peace.” The solemn ceremony took place at the Ministry of Labor (Kemnaker) square in Jakarta on Monday, June 1, 2026.
In his speech, the Minister of Labor urged all segments of the population, and particularly the younger generation as guardians of the future, to make Pancasila a living ideology.

“The noble values of Pancasila must not be mere decoration on office walls or mere text in history books, but must be applied in daily life,” stated Yassierli.
The Minister of Labor gave strict instructions to all Kemnaker employees to uphold and apply the values of Pancasila in all their work. “I entrust Pancasila to you. Ensure that every government policy developed is based on social justice, satisfies the population’s sense of justice, safeguards the rights of the smallest communities, and ensures that no one feels excluded,” he said.
“We must continue to combat all forms of intolerance and radicalism that could undermine our national harmony,” Yassierli continued.
In his speech, the Minister of Labor emphasized that this year’s commemoration of Pancasila Day is not merely an annual ceremony, but an important moment of reflection to ensure that the flame of Pancasila continues to burn in the hearts of every Indonesian.

Yassierli emphasized that the theme “Pancasila unites the nation, the basis for world peace” is a clear representation of the noble values of Pancasila, which are not only relevant to preserving the unity of the Indonesian nation amidst its diversity of more than 17,000 islands and hundreds of ethnic groups, but also constitute the answer to creating sustainable world peace.
