During Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026, Telkomsel reaffirms its commitment to “Service with Wholeheartedness,” so customers can fulfill their religious obligations with peace of mind and in complete comfort. All Telkomsel services are available 24/7 with attractive special offers and optimal network connectivity.

Saki H. Bramono, Vice President of the Consumer Business Area Sumatra at Telkomsel, stated: “Our focus for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr this year is to wholeheartedly support our customers at every stage. We have prepared 24/7 customer service and various special products to support pious worship, smooth social interactions, and meaningful Ramadan moments.”


Greater peace of mind with easily accessible customer service


During Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr (RAFI) 2026, eight Telkomsel Siaga service points (three main points and five additional points) will be operational in the Sumatra region.

Customers can activate and top up various Telkomsel products, use SIM/eSIM card migration services, get assistance with MyTelkomsel services, and redeem Telkomsel POIN. These messages are valid from March 13 to 29, 2026.

In addition to the Telkomsel Siaga Posts, customers also have digital access to Telkomsel services through the MyTelkomsel app, the website www.telkomsel.com, social media accounts @telkomsel, the 188 call centers, 21 GraPARI Siaga, and 1,528 standby sales points throughout Sumatra. There is also a RAFI Digital Post on Telkomsel’s TikTok account, accessible anytime, anywhere.


Various special offers for a more memorable Ramadan


Several special internet packages are also available for SIMPATI customers (Seru Ramadan, Seru Liburan, Seru Sahur, Seru Ngabuburit), Halo customers (Halo Digital Bundle Meaningful Deals, BERKAH Halo RoaMAX Umroh Activation), and by.U customers (SOTR Package – Sahur On The Road and Aneh Tapi Nyatanya Bagus Package).

For convenient internet access at home, customers can take advantage of IndiHome promotions on new installations starting from IDR 50,000 with high speeds and special WiFi Game prices, Orbit promotions during Ramadan and Sahur, and Eznet installation promotions.

In addition, customers can donate Telkomsel points to the Mudik Hepi loyalty program, which allows people to travel home for free.


An optimal network ensures safer peak traffic


In the Sumatra region, Telkomsel expects data traffic to increase by approximately 22.37 PB compared to last year’s RAFI period, representing an increase of approximately 10.2%. The number of text messages and voice calls is also expected to increase compared to last year’s RAFI period, by 17.2% and 3.6%, respectively.

To ensure customers continue to have convenient access to digital services—for religious gatherings, family communication, and entertainment—Telkomsel has implemented the following measures:

Network optimization at 189 priority points of interest (POIs) in the Sumatra region, including busy areas, transportation routes, residential areas, and places of worship.

Implementation of an AI-based autonomous network for 24/7 end-to-end monitoring (early detection, diagnosis, and automatic repair), as well as three regional stations and 16 Siaga network stations to ensure real-time service quality.

Deployment of eight COMBAT units (Compact Mobile BTS) at locations with high traffic potential to ensure optimal capacity and signal quality.

Nizar Fuadi, Vice President of Area Network Operations for Sumatra, emphasized that Telkomsel’s entire network infrastructure, along with our team and partners, is fully prepared for the expected increase in communication traffic during RAFI (the Indonesian New Year, Eid al-Fitr) this year.

“Our efforts are certainly focused on providing the community with warm communication during Ramadan, enabling them to fulfill their religious duties, and fostering solidarity on the upcoming Victory Day,” he said.
