Stabat police successfully arrest methamphetamine dealer and seize 1.28 grams of drugs


Stabat police raided a drug den in Neighborhood III, Dendang Village, Stabat District, Langkat Regency, on Saturday evening (February 28, 2026).

Stabat Police Chief Zulkarnain stated on Sunday afternoon (March 1, 2026) that the raid took place between 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM.

In collaboration with neighborhood leaders and residents, police busted a drug den.

The raid was led by Detective Chief Inspector Chevaz Alban Noya, and involved neighborhood leaders and residents.

As a result of the raid, officers arrested a man with the initials A, alias D (40), residing in Pulau Semikat Village, Serapit District, Langkat, on suspicion of drug trafficking.

In addition to arresting the suspect, police also seized various items of evidence, including two transparent plastic bags containing methamphetamine weighing a total of 1.28 grams, an electronic scale, two empty plastic bags, two mobile phones, and Rp 2,000,000 in cash, believed to be related to drug trafficking.

The suspect and the evidence were secured and handed over to the Stabat police.

Stabat Police Chief Zulkarnain stated that the perpetrator and all evidence have been secured and handed over to Langkat police for further legal action.

“We have secured the perpetrator and the evidence, including 1.28 grams of methamphetamine, and handed it over to Langkat police for further processing in accordance with current law,” Zulkarnain said.***
