Sapta Putra Heads the Deliserdang Public Prosecution Service
There has been a change in the Public Prosecution Service’s policy regarding internal appointments and promotions. What is the reason for this?
Prosecutor General ST Burhanuddin, through the Deputy Prosecutor General for Development, rewards highly successful public prosecutors with promotions.
The Public Prosecution Service has issued Decree number KEP-IV-161/C/02/2026, dated February 11, 2026, concerning transfers, dismissals, and appointments of and within the structural civil service positions at the Public Prosecution Service of the Republic of Indonesia, signed by Deputy Prosecutor General for Development, Hendro Dewanto.
In the decree concerning the rotation and transfer of level III officials at the Public Prosecution Service, Sapta Putra, SH, MH, is ranked 39th.
Promotion to Head of the Public Prosecution Service
He has been promoted to head of the Deliserdang District Public Prosecution Service, North Sumatra.
Sapta Putra replaces the former official, Revanda Sitepu, who was suspected of problems in the performance of his duties and powers and was subsequently transferred to the Public Prosecution Service in Jakarta. He is currently under investigation by the Deputy Attorney General for Supervision.
Sapta Putra must leave his position as an intelligence assistant at the Riau Public Prosecution Service in Pekanbaru. He served as an assistant at the Riau Public Prosecution Service for eight months, since his appointment in July 2025.
