Qurban Fest with Pegadaian Regional Office 1 Medan Staff — PT Pegadaian Regional Office 1 Medan slaughtered sacrificial animals to celebrate Eid al-Adha 1446 H. The slaughtering of the sacrificial animals took place at the Official Residence of PT Pegadaian Regional Office 1 Medan, Jalan Tusam, Saturday, June 7, 2025.
Also witnessing the slaughtering of the sacrificial animals were the Head of PT Pegadaian Regional Office 1 Medan, Maksum accompanied by the Deputy for Operations, Basuki Tri Andayani; Deputy for Business Area Medan 1, Deputy for Business Area Medan 1, Aris Suroso Mualim; Deputy for Business Area Medan 2, J Nanang Hartanto; and the Branch Managers and Pegadaian Medan Staff.
Head of PT Pegadaian Kanwil 1 Medan, Maksum said, the implementation of qurban in order to enliven Eid al-Adha is held every year by Pegadaian Medan employees.
”This qurban is a form of devotion of Muslims to Allah SWT, where they set aside their fortune to be able to perform the qurban worship. Hopefully the intention that we have endeavored will receive blessings from Allah SWT,” he said.
Maksum hopes that next year the number of Muqorib (people who make qurban) at Pegadaian Medan will continue to increase and the collaboration with Darul Tauhid (DT) will continue.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Joint Qurban Fest Committee with Pegadaian Kanwil 1 Medan Employees, Hudia Zulhamdi reported that as many as 48 branch offices in the Pegadaian Medan area independently and simultaneously carried out the slaughter of qurban animals.
”A total of 54 animals, out of 46 goats and 8 cows, were slaughtered today simultaneously in 48 branch offices,” he explained.
DT Medan Branch Representative, Hesti revealed that the slaughter of sacrificial animals is routinely carried out every year by Pegadaian Medan.
”And this is the fifth year that Pegadaian and DT Medan Branch have collaborated to carry out the sacrifice. For DT, Pegadaian Medan has become part of our family,” he explained. ***
