Police Arrest Simangalam Labura Residents During Drug Deal
The Kualuh Hulu police team has successfully uncovered another suspected drug offense in their jurisdiction.
The arrest of the perpetrators of the drug deal was based on a report from the public. On Friday (January 30), around 12:00 noon, the Kualuh police team received information about a methamphetamine deal at the crime scene.

Kualuh Hulu Police Chief, AKP Citra Yani br Barus, subsequently investigated the alleged transaction further. Under the Chief’s orders, the investigation and surveillance were carried out under the direct supervision of Chief of Detectives, First Inspector Ramadhan Hilal.
After arriving at the crime scene, the operational team conducted surveillance and observed two individuals conducting a drug deal under an oil palm tree.
“The team arrested a man with the initials E (37) around 3:30 PM local time. A friend of the man managed to escape. The perpetrators’ statements indicated that they resided in Hamlet 1, Simangalam Village, South Kualuh District, North Labuhanbatu Regency,” said the head of the Criminal Investigation Department.
Police have secured evidence
“During a search of the perpetrators, the team seized various items of evidence, including three transparent plastic bags containing suspected methamphetamine (3.85 grams), a Vivo mobile phone, electronic scales, an empty plastic bag, a black wallet, a black backpack, a black Yamaha Vixion motorcycle, and 205,000 rupiah in cash,” police said.
During interrogation, the suspect admitted that the methamphetamine belonged to him and that he had obtained it from a man named Encet, a resident of Aek Loba, Asahan. Officers then searched for Encet based on the suspect’s description but were unable to locate him.
The suspect and the seized evidence were then transferred to the Kualuh Hulu police station for further legal action.***
