A major fire recently destroyed the home of Wijiatun, a resident of the village of Suko Awin Jaya in Sekerman District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi County.
To relieve the affected residents, Karya Graham Hutagaol, Head of the Muaro Jambi Public Prosecution Service, visited the affected residents on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, together with various officials from the Public Prosecution Service, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the District Head, and the Village Head. Muaro Jambi Public Prosecutor Karya Graham Hutagaol stated that his office has a duty to assist the residents by providing logistical support and other basic necessities such as basic food, kitchen utensils, and money.
“It is our duty to help the affected community. We are providing relief supplies, including logistical necessities and other basic needs such as food, kitchen equipment, and cash, to meet the basic needs of the fire victims,” said Karya Graham.
