He said technological developments such as computers, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital sensors should be seen as supporting tools to increase productivity and quality of work.
“I studied industrial engineering for a long time and learned a lot from Japan’s work culture of continuous improvement. There is always the question: what better way can be done next month to make work more productive and of better quality,” he said.
Yassierli believes that the spirit of innovation within Panasonic has grown well and needs to be further strengthened by involving all elements of the company, including the trade unions.
“There is a culture and a spirit of growing together towards a common goal. This combination of Japanese-style discipline and Indonesian-style kinship is very good and has given rise to several cultural innovations,” he said.

“Let no employee be left behind. Everyone has the right to further training and retraining,” he said. ***rel
