IT&B Business Institute Receives Awards from IBS and MBMI
IT&B Business Institute received awards from the International Buddhist Society (IBS) from Thailand and the Indonesian Mahanikaya Buddhist Religious Council (MBMI) from Indonesia to the IT&B Business Institute, June 14, 2025.
“This is the first time that IT&B Business Institute has collaborated with the International Buddhist Society and the Indonesian Mahanikaya Buddhist Religious Council in implementing the IMEC Buddhist Olympiad at the end of 2024,” said Ir. Albert Masli, S.E., S.P., M.M., M.Pd.
Winning the IMEC Buddhist Olympiad
Director of Student Affairs of the IT&B Business Institute, Ir. Albert Masli, S.E., S.P., M.M., M.Pd explained that the IT&B Business Institute successfully won the IMEC Buddhist Olympiad in the category of the highest average participant score in Indonesia for the university category.
“Of course we feel proud and honored for the achievements made by our students, because these achievements have succeeded in making our campus get the highest average score in Indonesia, therefore, yesterday we were invited to Thailand to receive an international award,” said Ir. Albert Masli, S.E., S.P., M.M., M.Pd.
Collaboration Between Institutions and Campuses
On that occasion, the Rector of the IT&B Business Institute, Assos. Prof. Dr. Agus Susanto Tan who was accompanied by the Director of Student Affairs of the IT&B Business Institute, Ir. Albert Masli, S.E., S.P., M.M., M.Pd said that collaboration between institutions and campuses is one of the things that needs to be maintained and carried out continuously.
“The International Buddhist Society, the Indonesian Mahanikaya Buddhist Religious Council, and the IT&B Business Institute have been collaborating quite intensively in the past year. Hopefully, collaborations like this will have an even greater impact on society and be beneficial for related stakeholders,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Agus Susanto Tan.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Agus Susanto Tan added that hopefully this collaboration can continue to be established and bring blessings to the IT&B Business Institute as well as the International Buddhist Society and the Indonesian Mahanikaya Buddhist Religious Council.
IMEC Buddhist Olympiad Award
Representative of the International Buddhist Society, YM. Phra Somchai Sukantho MT. said that the award certificate was presented as an expression of gratitude for the support from the IT&B Business Institute which has participated in organizing the IMEC Buddhist Olympiad at the IT&B Business Institute.
“We from the International Buddhist Society really appreciate the management of the IT&B Business Institute, especially the students educated by the IT&B Business Institute. The students have succeeded in achieving the highest average score in Indonesia in the university category. Hopefully, in the future, cooperation like this can continue to be implemented so that it can be for the younger generation to become individuals with character and be useful for their families and society in Indonesia,” said YM.
