High school student found dead, suspected murder victim.
The discovery of the body of a young man on Jalan Desa Suka Mandi Hilir, Pagar Merbau District, Deli Serdang Regency, on Sunday, December 22, 2025, is now being investigated by the Deli Serdang police.
The victim’s family, through their lawyer, suspects that Hafidz Khairu Agam (15), a high school student from Pasar V Village, Kebun Kelapa, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency, is the victim of murder.
The Deli Serdang traffic police, led by AKP law enforcement chief R. Gultom, conducted an investigation at the scene and concluded that Hafidz was the victim of a single-vehicle accident.
Victim’s family requests exhumation of body
However, the victim’s family has recently become concerned and suspects he was murdered.
Hafiz Saragih, SH, their lawyer, told reporters that they have sent a letter to the police requesting the exhumation of the victim’s body.
This is because the information and facts at the victim’s discovery site were unusual. The victim’s motorcycle was not significantly damaged, although according to the police, the victim had previously hit Titi’s small car.
“Another suspicion is that the victim’s friends who were out with him that night also did not report anything,” said the victim’s lawyer, as reported on Saturday (February 8, 2026).
Earlier, residents found the body of a young man in a rice paddy. He was bleeding from his mouth and nose. The victim’s motorcycle was found next to the body.
Police retrieve the victim and take him to the hospital for an autopsy.
This incident shocked local residents, prompting police officers to arrive at the scene to examine the victim’s body. The victim was later identified as Hafiz (22), a resident of Rahayu Hamlet, Pasar V Kebun Kelapa Village, Beringin District, Deli Serdang Regency.
Hafiz’s body was then taken to Amri Tambunan Hospital for an autopsy. No visible vehicle debris was found at the scene, only broken glass from a motorcycle headlight on the bridge where the victim’s body and motorcycle were found.
Pagar Merbau Police Chief, AKP Ronald Sihite, stated that based on the traffic police’s investigation, it is suspected that the victim collided with a bridge. The victim’s body was found by residents Monday morning.***
