Former gas station on Jalang Besar Siantar becomes drug den
The Simalungun police narcotics squad has seized a former gas station on Jalang Besar Siantar, Seribudolok, in the Bandar Raya hamlet, Seribudolok village, Silimakuta district. The gas station was being used as a drug den.
During the raid, officers arrested five men and seized 0.47 grams of methamphetamine and 30.91 grams of marijuana.
Police Arrest 5 Suspects
AKP spokesperson Verry Purba of the Simalungun police said on Friday (March 6, 2026) that the case came to light following a complaint from the public to the regional narcotics squad of the North Sumatra police.
The five arrested men were RS (22), residing on Jalan Kabanjahe in the Silimakuta district; S (28) from the Sei Rampah regency; OD (34) from the village of Bandar Raya in the Silimakuta district; BG (41) from the village of Dolok Paribuan in the Silimakuta district; and SP (46) from the hamlet of Bandar Raya.
Suspects and Evidence: Methamphetamine and Smoking Paraphernalia Seized
“The seized evidence is extensive. Methamphetamine, marijuana, smoking paraphernalia, electronic scales, mobile phones used for transactions, and even 700,000 rupiah in proceeds from sales were found. This indicates they are a gang actively distributing drugs,” said Verry Purba of the AKP.
“The suspects admitted receiving drugs from W. The team immediately went to W’s house, but W was not apprehended and presumably fled,” said Verry Purba of the AKP.
