According to him, the meat of the sacrificial animals will later be distributed to the poor, orphanages and the community around the operational areas of the state-owned company.

The number of sacrificial animals slaughtered on Eid al-Adha in 2025 is 54, including 46 goats and 8 cows. “The slaughtering of sacrificial animals to celebrate Eid al-Adha is carried out by Pegadaian Medan every year. God willing, every year the number of sacrificial animals donated by Pegadaian Medan employees will increase,” said Putra, his nickname.


Putra added that in addition to being a form of concern, the TJSL program aims not only to improve the company’s image, but also to help people in need and build close relationships with the community in the work unit’s environment.

OSL Pegadaian Medan

Putra, who is the spokesperson for PT Pegadaian Kanwil 1 Medan, revealed Pegadaian Medan’s business performance until June 2025. “Until June 2025, the total OSL that has been distributed by PT Pegadaian Kanwil 1 Medan is 7.4 trillion rupiah,” explained Putra.

According to him, the financing that has been distributed has grown by 18 percent. “It is expected that the growth of OSL and financing will continue until the end of 2025,” said Putra.

Facing the school holidays that fall in June 2025, Pegadaian Medan is ready to serve the needs of business capital for MSMEs and retailers.

“It is predicted that there will be higher growth in OSL and financing during the long school holidays, where every year pawn transactions in the North Sumatra and Aceh regions will also increase,” he said. ***
