Celebrating Eid al-Adha 1446 H, XLSMART Distributes Qurban Animals to the Community — Welcoming Eid al-Adha 1446 H, the Management of PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera, Tbk (XLSMART) collaborated with the XLSMART Taklim Assembly to facilitate employees and management as well as congregations to perform the qurban worship collectively.
Through this program, XLSMART managed to collect 112 qurban animals in the form of cows, sheep, and goats to be distributed to the community in various regions in Indonesia, including the area around the XLSMART office and a number of areas in need.
The distribution of sacrificial animals consisting of 1 Limousin cow, 6 regular cows, and 76 goats/sheep from the participation of XLSMART management and employees, as well as 1 Limousin cow, 1 regular cow, 11 sheep, and 16 goats from the Company’s CSR program, was carried out to the community around XLSMART Tower, Sabang office, BSD office, and at the mosques fostered by XLSMART’s Majelis Taklim in Aceh, Magetan-East Java, Luwuk-Central Sulawesi, and in Bajo-East Nusa Tenggara.
The distribution of sacrificial animals also reached 26 points in other cities such as Jabodetabek, Medan, Palembang, Bandung, Surabaya, Makassar, Semarang, Jogjakarta, Malang, Banten, Tegal, Temanggung, Cianjur, Sukabumi, Bojonegoro, Trenggalek, Jember, Madura, Bondowoso, Jombang and Lumajang.
XLSMART held a sacrificial animal handover activity as part of a series of activities to celebrate Eid al-Adha 1446 H which was held on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Symbolically, the handover of the sacrificial animals was carried out by the Director & Chief Regulatory Officer of XLSMART, Merza Fachys. This activity is a form of social responsibility, which reflects the company’s social concern for the surrounding community, especially to share happiness and blessings in the celebration of Eid al-Adha, especially for those who are less fortunate while strengthening togetherness in the work environment.
The process of slaughtering sacrificial animals was carried out in various locations, including in the yard of XLSMART Tower, Kuningan-South Jakarta, as well as in other XLSMART offices and sacrificial animal distribution locations spread across various regions.
Chairman of the XLSMART Taklim Assembly, Yanuar Tirta Kumaya said, “This program is a real form of our commitment to provide broad benefits to the community, while also making it easier for employees, management, and congregations to carry out the qurban worship.
“Alhamdulillah, the mandate from the qurban implementers has been distributed to various regions, including to mosques fostered by the XLSMART Taklim Assembly throughout Indonesia.”
Merza Fachys expressed his appreciation for the involvement of all elements of the company in this program, “The active participation of employees, management, and the XLSMART Taklim Assembly congregation shows that the spirit of togetherness and concern is still very strong.
“We hope that every qurban animal that is distributed will not only bring blessings to the implementers of the qurban, but also be a blessing for the recipients in various regions, especially in areas in need.”

In addition to direct distribution, the XLSMART Taklim Assembly also collaborates with trusted partners such as Mitra Amal Indonesia and Baitulmaal Muamalat (BMM) to reach more remote areas. Beneficiaries include underprivileged communities, people with disabilities, and memorizers of the Qur’an.
The XLSMART Taklim Assembly also continues to encourage employee contributions in other social activities, such as zakat, infak, sedekah and waqf, through collaboration with national zakat institutions and leading waqf institutions.
XLSMART hopes that these programs can continue to be a bridge of goodness, present in various situations, including natural disasters, and strengthen the spirit of sharing in the company environment and the wider community. ***
