Kalimantan Conglomerate Buys CUAN Shares


An Indonesian conglomerate has purchased 6.55 billion rupiah worth of CUAN (PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi, Tbk) shares. The purchaser is Prajogo Pangestu, founder of the Barito Pacific Group, known as one of the richest men in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, with core businesses in the petrochemical, power, and renewable energy sectors (including geothermal energy).

This man, born in West Kalimantan, is registered as the owner of 3,502,000 CUAN shares.


Multiple share purchase transactions


According to information from the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX), Prajogo Pangestu acquired shares in multiple transactions on January 15, 2026, at prices ranging from Rp 1,850 to Rp 1,900 per share.

The distribution is as follows: 341,700 shares at Rp 1,870 per share, 202,500 shares at Rp 1,855 per share, 265,300 shares at Rp 1,865 per share, and 257,500 shares at Rp 1,875 per share.

In addition, 177,400 shares were purchased at Rp 1,880 per share, 169,400 shares at Rp 1,900 per share, 656,500 shares at Rp 1,850 per share, 470,400 shares at Rp 1,860 per share, 472,000 shares at Rp 1,890 per share, and 220,200 shares at Rp 1,895 per share.

The final additional purchase transaction involved 267,100 shares at Rp 1,885 per share.


Shareholdings in CUAN


As a result, Prajogo’s shareholding in CUAN increased from 94,521,150,000 shares (84.076%) to 94,521,150,000 shares, representing 84.079% of the voting rights.

The transactions involved only direct purchases of common shares and were not related to a repurchase agreement. The shares were also purchased for personal investment purposes. ***obs
